Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) Overview
Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) is a legislature financed state funded college in Patuakhali, Bangladesh. PSTU has offered association to the Barisal Government Veterinary College as its constituent faculty.This is the main science and innovation college and first state funded college in Barisal division.
The Patuakhali Science and Technology University was produced at the private activity of the neighborhood individuals through the foundation of a higher optional organization in 1972 as a private school. It was then swung to Patuakhali Agricultural College under the connection of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh in 1979 with the target of delivering agrarian graduates offering the BSc.Ag. (Hons.) degree.
The school was nationalized on 1 February 1985 and was put under the regulatory control of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Ministry of Agricultural together with BAU association.
The legislature of Bangladesh propelled a venture to set up a science and innovation college where none existed. The venture supported the change of Patuakhali Agricultural College into the undeniable Patuakhali Science and Technology University that appeared through a Parliamentary Act passed on 12 July 2001.

Requirements For Admission Test
- Students who passed SSC & Equivalent exam in 2016/2017 and HSC & Equivalent exam in 2018/19 they are eligible for apply.
- Total GPA must be 6.00 but they have to get GPA each exam 2.5 include 4th subject.
