Jessore Science and Technology University (JSTU) Overview
Jessore University is a government financed public university in Bangladesh. It is also the forth public university in Khulna Division. The University is government financed. Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) began opearting from the 2009–2010 session. It’s first batch begun on 10 June 2009. The initial four departments were Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Environmental Science and Technology (EST), Microbiology (MB) and Fisheries and Marine Bioscience (FMB).
In 2009, JUST included Nutrition and Food Technology (NFT), Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), Chemical Engineering (ChE), Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PME), Genetic Engineering and Bio-innovation (GEBT). In 2010, Pharmacy was included. In 2012 Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and Physical Education and Sports Science (PESS) were included. Successively, in 2013 four new offices are begin working. Four new departments are-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics and English. Another two new departments added were Accounting and Information Systems, Agro Product Processing Technology which begun from the 2015–16 academic year.
In this academic year 2016–2017, one new division called Biomedical Engineering(BME) is begun. JUST is a standout amongst the latest government-financed state funded colleges for higher education and research in Bangladesh. This is the fourth state funded college in Khulna Division and the principal state funded college in Jessore locale. It was set up on 25 January 2007. Around 710 college students are being conceded every year in eighteen department under six faculties.

Requirements For Admission Test
Unit A: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam result total CGPA 7.00 & individually minimum CGPA 3.00.
Unit B: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam result total CGPA 7.00 & individually minimum CGPA 3.00.
Unit C: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam result total CGPA 6.50 & individually minimum CGPA 3.00.
Unit D: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam result total CGPA 6.00 & individually minimum CGPA 3.00.
Unit E: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam result total CGPA 6.00 & individually minimum CGPA 2.50.
Unit F: Both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam results total CGPA 6.00 for Science Group, CGPA 6.50 for Commerce Group & CGPA 6.00 for Arts Group & individually minimum CGPA 2.50.
